Job Description Job Description Tax Senior Client Accounting Tax Senior Client Accounting Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Senior to join our Client Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert advice on tax planning and compliance while ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for various entities including corporations, partnerships, and individuals. Conduct tax planning and research to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities for clients. Assist clients with corporate tax, sales tax, and other tax-related issues, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Provide high-quality financial reporting and client accounting services, ensuring adherence to GAAP and accounting principles. Manage client relationships by providing exceptional service and timely communication regarding tax matters. Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification or equivalent is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and client accounting roles. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including income tax, corporate tax, and sales tax. Experience with tax research and planning strategies. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relationship management.
