Service Dispatch Specialist – Temp to Perm Location: Albany, NY
(Onsite) Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $23–$25 per
hour Type: Temp-to-Perm Our client is a trusted leader in
electrical contracting and service, they are currently seeking a
highly organized and detail-oriented Service Dispatch Specialist to
join their team in Albany, NY. This is an exciting temp-to-perm

company. Position Summary: The Dispatch Specialist will play a
vital role in the daily operations of the service department by
coordinating and scheduling field technicians, managing work
orders, and ensuring accurate documentation for billing and job
costing. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, a strong
communicator, and able to thrive in a fast-paced office
environment. Key Responsibilities: Answer and direct incoming
service calls with professionalism and urgency Create and manage
work orders in Viewpoint, including entering new customer and site
information as needed Schedule and dispatch a team of 8 service
technicians for various electrical service jobs Collaborate with
the Service Manager to plan and prioritize daily and weekly service
assignments Review and compile time and materials sheets submitted
by technicians to assist with billing preparation Accurately total
and allocate stock material sheets for job costing Maintain and
update labor projection sheets in Microsoft Excel Perform general
administrative tasks such as document filing, data entry, and
miscellaneous office duties Qualifications: Proficiency in
Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word Strong communication
skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service Highly
organized with sharp attention to detail and the ability to
multi-task Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem
solving and a willingness to learn Experience in dispatching,
scheduling, or a service coordination role is strongly preferred
Familiarity with Viewpoint software is a plus (training will be
