Job Description:
Smart Staffing Group is seeking a Field Technician for hire! Pay
Rate: $18.00/hour Many current management staff began their careers
in positions similar to this one. Responsibilities: Oversee the
conduct of abatement/remediation projects Collect air samples and
review compliance during conduct of work Being outside for extended
shifts Entering confined spaces, crawlspaces, boiler rooms,
climbing ladders/scaffolding, working on elevated surfaces Working
long hours and working nights/weekends as required to support the
projects. Qualifications: Must be 18 Years Old at the time of
hiring Must have a High School Diploma, College preferred. Must be
able to perform Basic Math and Science; Write & Speak English Must
be competent in Construction; Hand Tools; Power Tools; Data
Recording; Hand-Held Electronics; Prior to employment, each Trainee
shall be required to pass a Pre-Employment Physical which includes
an OSHA Respirator Medical & Pre-employment Drug Screening. Must
have reliable car for transportation that is available for the full
work day for travel and transport of equipment to & from the
assigned work locations. Access to a vehicle is not sufficient,
must have transportation for the full work day.
