Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential
support in an elementary school setting. This contract role begins
ASAP with the potential for extension beyond the summer, making it
an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking a meaningful,
longer-term assignment. Location: Staatsburg, NY Job Type:
Contract, Full Time Duration: Start immediately; end date is
pending with intention to extend Sessions: 27 sessions available in
Latham, NY Additional Coverage: Maternity leave location in Pine
Plains, NY Coverage Needed: One 6-8 month leave coverage and one
long-term coverage for 27 sessions Key Responsibilities: Conduct
comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings for
elementary school students Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student
progress Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by
the school and regulatory bodies Monitor and report on student
progress regularly Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
to ensure coordinated care Qualifications: Valid New York State SLP
license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Experience working in school-based settings with elementary-aged
children Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
effectively engage with students, families, and staff Ability to
manage a caseload and work independently within a collaborative
