Basic Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. -CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We seek an experienced Advanced Quality Engineer to design, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products. Utilizing your knowledge and experienced you'll have the opportunity to design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:Develops and reviews Contracts, Documents, Drawings, Instructions for conformance to customer, program and company requirementsDevelops and maintains program process and procedure documentationFully understands contract and company requirements to ensure flow down compliance in all areasCompares defects against standards and drives/supports dispositions/decisions and associated actionsCollects, organizes and analyzes data to identify trends and recommend actions where necessarySupports -engineering reviews to ensure requirements are met and actively participates in engineering meetingsSupports root cause investigations, corrective/preventive action plan development and verification of effectiveness -of implemented actionsParticipates in reviews and meetings including technical design reviews and technical peer reviewsDevelops and maintains program audit and surveillance plan to ensure program compliance, supports program auditsProvides metrics and reports to quality, program and engineering leadershipWorks with multiple organizations including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts and Program ManagementWitnesses and/or monitors test activitiesWorks under minimal supervision -Interfaces with customer representatives and suppliersPrepares and provides inputs for program, engineering and customer reviews -Travel -may -be -requiredSecurity clearance -is requiredKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of engineering (electrical and mechanical) methodologies, tools, and standardsAbility to -read and -interpret technical -drawingsAbility to think creatively and strategically -Experience with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong written and verbal communications skillsStrong skills in communicating issues and their impacts and driving corrective actionsStrong ability to clearly recognize and report relevant problems and drive resolutionStrong skills in reviewing documents/drawings/instructions for conformance to requirements -Awareness of ISO 9001:2015 Standard

Minimum Salary:
USD $96,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Salary:
USD $106,600.00/Yr.
