## Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Director of Surgical Services to join our dynamic healthcare team.Job Type: 26 weeks contract (With high possibility of extension)Shift: Nights: (12 hrs)Shift Notes: WK 1 Thurs, Fri, Sat 7p-7:30am WK2 Sun, Wed, Thur 7p-7:30am WK3 Thur, Fri, Sat 7p-7:30a WK4 Sun, Wed, Thur 7p-7:30a 36hrs per weekLocation: Pittsfield, MA*Responsible for directing the operation of the hospital on evenings, nights and weekends. **This direction includes responsibility not only for the inpatient units, but for all ancillary and support departments that operate during these hours.** Recognized as a role model for clinical expertise; documented ability to make prompt, quality decisions in the clinical setting.* Demonstrates sufficient energy to participate in and support staff through change.* Excellent interpersonal skills and evidence of fairness and consistency in application of policies and contractual requirements.* Ability to calmly manage a variety of intense activities or problems simultaneously.* History of dependability in maintaining a work schedule and demonstration of work ethic required to motivate others.Requirements:* Minimum of 1-2 years CURRENT successful leadership experience strongly preferred.* *MUST HAVE CURRENT MULTIPLE SPECIALTY EXPRIENCE (MS, ICU, PCU, ED, NICU, etc)** Experience in successful conflict resolution preferred.* *Demonstrated working knowledge of the daily operations of an acute care - Has your traveler managed a unit(s)?** *Medical Center, including experience handling emergency/trauma and critical care situations.** Working knowledge of staffing systems preferred.* *Bachelor's Degree in Nursing** Documented evidence of continuing education and continued professional growth and progress in health care and nursing.* Must be an RN* ACLS (AHA)* BLS (AHA)RN01Job Type: Full-timePay: $3,800.00 - $4,000.00 per weekApplication Question(s):* Has you managed a unit(s)?Education:* Bachelor's (Required)Experience:* Leadership: 1 year (Required)* MS, ICU, PCU, ED, NICU: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* ACLS Certification (Required)* RN (Required)Ability to Commute:* Pittsfield, MA (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Pittsfield, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
