Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:MRI Technologist - Discipline:Allied Health Professional - Duration:13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift:10 hours, days - Employment Type:Travel FACILITY IS SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR A SIEMENS SOLA EXPERT ONLY Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, the MRI Technologist is responsible for performing duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgment and initiative as well as a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety. Submission Requirements - 5 years experience in a hospital setting as a MRI technologist -REQUIRED - Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert Experience - REQUIRED - Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology -REQUIRED - Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain -REQUIRED - Toshiba and Cerner experience- Preferred - Travel experience - Preferred PROFILE REQUIREMENTS - Resume - Skills checklist specific to the discipline (within the last year) - 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment - Certifications -don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain - COVID vaccination - not required but please include in profile if vaccinated Certification Requirements - ARRT - BLS (AHA) Additional License Requirements - Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain About the Facility Brattleboro, VT is a very rural area with limited housing options and public transportation. The department offers services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to inpatients, outpatients and emergency room patients of all ages. Whereas x-ray procedures constitute the majority of our service, we also provide related quality control (including protecting patients and staff from harmful radiation), quality assurance monitoring and evaluation, marketing and continuing education of staff and patients.
