Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Colon & Rectal Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: RN License required Certifications: Competency test required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Post-surgical setting caring for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. You will work closely with the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs. Experience with post-operative patients requiring TPN, NG tubes, and central lines is necessary. There is no block schedule or 48-hour requests available. Candidates must have one year of experience at a 600 bed academic hospital with a passing competency testing score. Two years of experience is preferred without testing requirements. Competency testing must be completed within 48 hours of submission.
