Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse assists with assessing, planning,
implementing and evaluating patient care. The LPN performs
therapeutic nursing measures with accuracy, safety and efficiency
consistent with current nursing standards. Qualifications / Job
Requirements: Education / Skills Required: • Must be a graduate of
an accredited School of Nursing. • Must possess a current NYS
License. • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend medical
terminology. • Previous experience as Licensed Practical Nurse
preferred, with the ability to satisfactorily complete training
program. • Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to
interact with patients, patient’s families, staff and management. •
Must be highly motivated, able to work outside the normal working
hours as volume demands. • Ability to maintain strict
confidentiality.
