Compensation - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1930 - $2070 per week Med/Surg RN Job Details - Location: Pittsfield, MA (01201) – Massachusetts healthcare jobs - Assignment Length: 13-week travel RN contract - Start Date: November 3, 2025 - End Date: February 2, 2026 - Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts) - Hours per Week: 36 - Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and two major holidays required - Unit Size: 20–34 beds (varies by unit) - Patient Ratio: 1:6 typical - Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color) Registered Nurse Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience - Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license - Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications (all required at submission) - Telemetry nursing experience required - Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly preferred - Meditech Expanse EHR experience strongly preferred - Ability to float to any Med/Surg unit as needed - Reliable personal vehicle required for assignment - COVID-19 vaccination (dose on or after 10/3/23) or approved exemption (mask required if exempted) - Must live more than 50 miles from facility (travel nurse requirement) - Application must include permanent address, work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), 1 supervisory reference (from past 2 years), and all required licenses/certifications Med/Surg RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment - Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes - Float to other Med/Surg units as needed throughout the hospital - Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training - Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards - Deliver compassionate patient and family education and support Note: All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your application.
