Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work in medical-surgical units with 20 to 34 beds depending on assignment • Maintain typical patient ratio of 1:6 • Must be willing to float to any medical-surgical unit • Every other weekend schedule with holidays required if needed • No on-call responsibilities • Personal scrubs of any color required for dress code • 8 hours of non-billable orientation provided • Must have own vehicle for transportation • 2 years of current medical-surgical experience required • Telemetry experience required • Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required • Willingness to float required • Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS - must be in hand at profile upload • Massachusetts nursing license required • Must reside more than 50 miles from facility • Block scheduling not accepted • Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted (must be noted at upload) • All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services to the community.
