7:30 AM) Start Date: October 27, 2025 Assignment Length: Until
January 26, 2026 (13 weeks) Guaranteed Hours: 12 hours per night,
48 hours per week Job Description: Join Berkshire Medical Center as
a Registered Nurse - Med Surg, providing critical patient care
during overnight shifts. This assignment requires meticulous
planning around requested time off, with a maximum of 5 days of RTO
(Request To Leave) accepted. Successful candidates will participate
in holiday coverage, working any two of the designated holidays
(Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s), including the weekends
surrounding these holidays. Please note that extensions requested
to end before December may not be considered for renewal at the
start of 2026. Important Requirements: - You must upload your
Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing
Pool) with your traveler profile. This is mandatory for staffing
assignments within Massachusetts. - Availability for at least two
specific interview dates and times is required—"Anytime" interviews
will not be accepted. - Residing within 50 miles of the facility
disqualifies candidates from consideration. - A COVID-19
vaccination (dose administered on or after 10/3/2023) is required.
Exemption forms are available, and vaccinated travelers must
provide proof. Patient Care Environment: - Unit Size: 20 to 34
beds, depending on patient census - Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 6
patients within standard operations - Dress Code: Personal scrubs
of any color - Holiday and OT Multipliers: 1.25x What You Bring: -
Valid RN license in Massachusetts with current Active Registered
Nurse License—please upload your license before consideration. -
Proven experience in Medical/Surgical nursing, demonstrating strong
assessment, medication administration, and patient care skills. -
Excellent communication abilities and a compassionate approach to
patient care. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment,
multitask efficiently, and work collaboratively within a healthcare
team. - Flexibility to work overnight shifts and holiday coverage
as required. Preferred Education & Experience: - Associates or
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/B SN) or higher. - Minimum of
1-2 years of recent acute care Med Surg experience. - Knowledge of
hospital protocols, electronic health records, and patient safety
standards. Certifications & Licenses (Required): - Active
Massachusetts Registered Nurse License (must be uploaded with
profile) - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be current)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred but not required)
