Key Job Details – Operating Room RN Educator - Location: Pittsfield, MA (01201) – Massachusetts healthcare job - Assignment Type: Travel RN Educator position - Unit: Family Birthplace – Operating Room Circulation for C-Sections - Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) - Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48; indicate preference on profile) - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 – End: 3/30/2026) - Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required - On-Call: None - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2520 - $2700 Qualifications – RN Educator, Family Birthplace Unit - Minimum 3 years of recent RN Educator experience in perinatal or maternal-child health (required) - Proven experience educating circulating nurses in the operating room for C-section procedures (required) - BSN or higher degree in nursing (required) - Active Massachusetts RN license (required for MA nursing jobs) - Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NRP – all current at submission (required) - Experience with Meditech Expanse (strongly preferred) - Must have own vehicle for assignment (travel nursing requirement) - Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (per travel nurse guidelines) - COVID vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) or approved exemption (mask required on site) - Ability to provide work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), and one supervisory reference (within past 2 years) - At least 1 year of relevant experience required Responsibilities – Operating Room RN Educator - Educate and mentor nursing staff in the Family Birthplace Unit, focusing on OR circulation for C-section deliveries - Promote clinical excellence and compliance with best practices for C-section procedures - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care and staff development - Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold facility standards - Attend required orientation and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures Take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding travel RN Educator job in Pittsfield, MA.
