Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery Facility: Berkshire Medical Center Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (Afternoons, 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week) Start Date: October 13, 2025 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Scheduled End: December 1, 2026 Weekly Stipend: $540.30 Weekly Taxable Pay: $753.41 Certifications and Licenses Requirements: - _Current and Valid _ Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Massachusetts - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - BLS (Basic Life Support) All certifications must be current and uploaded at profile submission. Certification cards must be in hand and ready for verification upon offer. There is no flexibility on this requirement. What You Bring: - A valid Massachusetts RN license, with proof uploaded in your profile - Current ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications, with documentation ready for verification - Proven experience in Labor & Delivery nursing, with the ability to handle high-stakes, fast-paced situations - Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients - Flexibility to work holiday coverage, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s holidays, as required - Ability to commit to scheduled shifts and adhere to facility protocols and safety standards - Willingness to wear a mask at all times on site if Covid vaccination exemption is not granted Preferred Education & Experience: - Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) - Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience - Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures related to maternity care - Experience working in a high-volume, busy hospital environment Additional Details: - Scheduling: 12-hour afternoon shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week - Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation; mandatory attendance required - Holiday Coverage: Candidates MUST be available for specific holiday shifts and identify requested days off upfront. RTO requests submitted post-profile upload will NOT be approved. - Travel Consideration: Berkshire Health System will NOT consider travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility.
