Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of inpatient experience and a doctorate for a weekday-day shift role. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Inpatient hospital setting - Day shifts, Monday through Friday, and every other Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm - 32-hour work week - Participation in a holiday rotation is required, with coverage of two major holiday weekends each year - No on-call requirements - Rehabilitation equipment utilized includes splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment, and modalities - Strong preference for candidates with Meditech Expanse EMR experience - Responsibilities include direct patient care and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team for patient care planning - Orientation consists of 8 hours and is non-billable - Travelers must work two of the following holiday periods: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's and their associated weekends - Extensions will not be considered for assignments ending before or during the holiday season in December - No shift accommodation requests (such as block scheduling or extended shifts) will be considered - Local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible for this position /n /n Requirements/n - Doctorate in Physical Therapy required - Minimum of 2 years of current inpatient physical therapy experience required - Current BLS certification (AHA) required - Active Massachusetts PT license required if applicable - Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred - Must have own vehicle for transportation to and from assignment - Perm address must not be within 50 miles of the facility - Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be considered /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-646387.
