Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Critical Care RN – Massachusetts Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Massachusetts Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule including weekends and holidays as needed; 8-hour non-billable orientation Highlights: - 20-bed Critical Care unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio - Advanced critical care environment with ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring - Meditech Expanse EMR system - 13-week assignment with minimal time-off allowance - Holiday and overtime multiplier of 1.25% - Casual scrubs dress code Requirements: - Active Massachusetts RN license - Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required prior to start - Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care nursing experience - Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification - Experience with ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring - Willingness to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed - Reliable personal transportation required - Current skills checklist and one supervisory reference from the past two years - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Critical Care assignment offers the chance to work in a well-equipped acute care environment where you'll utilize advanced monitoring skills and provide life-saving interventions to critically ill patients.
