Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Travel RN - PCU Facility: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Shift: 3x12's – Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Start Date: 19/12/2025 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Stipend: $1,246.00 Certification and License Requirements Valid Registered Nursing (RN) license in the state of practice - Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - Preferred What you bring Minimum of 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience . Required Proven experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips . Required Solid background in acute care settings _. Preferred Travel nursing experience that demonstrates adaptability in diverse clinical environments. Preferred Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication skills to partner effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Provide direct, hands-on patient care for a diverse patient population in the PCU, including those requiring higher acuity such as BiPap, titratable drips, and hemodynamic monitoring. Delegate appropriate interventions to team members while maintaining oversight of patient care and safety. Monitor patients continuously, respond promptly to changes, and adjust care plans accordingly. Collaborate closely with physicians, care management, physical therapy, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies.
