Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract MRI Technologist for a local contract job in Fairfield, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Prestigious Imaging center in Fairfield, CT. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 5x8: 12:30 - 9:00. /n - Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. /n - Set up, operate, and maintain x-ray equipment according to policy and procedure. /n - Ability to explain procedures to patients. /n - Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. /n /n - Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved program in Radiologic Technology. /n /n - ARRT certification required; must be MR-certified. /n /n - CT license required (may be obtained after accepting the position). /n /n - Experience operating Siemens 3T MRI equipment. /n /n - BLS certification required. /n /n - Credentials: ARRT (R)(MR). /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
