Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity involves
providing specialized behavioral support within a K-12 educational
setting located in Milford, DE. The role focuses on serving
students with severe disabilities and autism, ranging in age from 2
to 22 years, within a dynamic school environment. This position
offers full-time contract work for the 2023-2024 school year,
Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
and develop Behavior Support Plans tailored to individual student
needs. Participate actively on a crisis intervention team,
implementing de-escalation techniques as needed. Collaborate with
educational teams to establish and monitor behavior goals aligned
with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide ongoing
support to school staff and students addressing behavioral
challenges. Assist with accurate and consistent data collection
related to behavior interventions. Qualifications and Experience:
Active BCBA certification or appropriate Delaware
licensure/certification related to behavior analysis. Experience
working with populations with severe disabilities and autism across
a broad age range. Strong skills in behavior assessment and
intervention planning. Ability to effectively collaborate within
multidisciplinary educational teams. Confidence in crisis
intervention and de-escalation strategies. Location: On-site
position based in Milford, Delaware. Candidates with a commitment
