Job Title: Cardiac Anesthesiologist Join a reputable private practice in Albany, New York, where you will provide high-quality anesthesia care within a well-established facility. This practice, part of a large anesthesia group in the region, has been delivering compassionate care for over forty years. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of new cardiac surgeons in a high-volume inpatient heart center. Job Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG and valve replacements. Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients. Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to the development and improvement of anesthesia protocols. Cover cases at St. Peter's Hospital and Samaritan Hospital campuses. Adhere to a variable schedule with potential shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours. Engage with a patient demographic primarily consisting of adults and geriatrics. Average 6-8 cardiac cases per day. Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesia. ECHO Board Certification and/or completed a Cardiac Fellowship. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to compassionate patient care. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Open to H-1B visa candidates. License and Certification Requirements: New York Medical License (or willing to obtain). Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
