Location: Albany, NY Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Physician Cardiology Overview Join a leading healthcare system as a
Non-Invasive Cardiologist, delivering high-quality inpatient and
outpatient cardiology services. This opportunity allows you to
provide patient-centered care while collaborating with a
multidisciplinary team. Practice Highlights Provide inpatient and
outpatient cardiology services, including hospital rounding and
clinic visits. Choose from three employment options: weekend
rounding only, traditional hospital/clinic schedule, or
hospital-only shift-based role. Conduct outpatient walk-in clinics
2 3 times monthly (for traditional hospital/clinic role).
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team across multiple
hospital locations. Utilize the Epic EMR system to document patient
care. Candidate Requirements Board Certification in Internal
Medicine required at start ; must obtain Cardiology board
certification within 2 years. Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (to
be completed prior to start). NY License or willingness to obtain.
Clean malpractice history. Willingness to work at multiple
locations. Open to 1099 candidates. Not accepting Locums candidates
or Visa candidates. Open to 2026 new graduates; not clearing names
for 2027 fellows at this time. Schedule & Coverage Respond to
on-call duties on a 1:5 weekend rotation with telephone and
occasional in-person coverage. Manage a patient load averaging
patients per 8-hour clinic day and participate in hospital rounds
for patients daily. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Base
Salary: $600,000/year guaranteed Additional compensation includes
productivity bonuses, quality/performance incentives, extra shift
incentives, CME allowance, and other applicable cash compensation
