Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Glens Falls, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,411 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Psych RN in Glens Falls, New York, 12801! Job Opportunity – Behavioral Health Registered Nurse – Upstate New York Start Date: February 26, 2026 Location: Upstate New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, every other weekend/holiday rotation required. 13-week assignment with 8-hour non-billable orientation. RN to patient ratio 1:9 depending on census (average daily census: 20 patients). Highlights: 30-bed locked adult inpatient behavioral health unit in a 410-bed community hospital Patient population includes adult and geriatric psychiatric patients with average stay of 5-7 days EPIC EMR system in use Primary nursing model with supportive night shift team including behavioral health techs and house supervisor Overtime and holiday pay at 1.25x base rate Located in a charming riverside community offering museums, local entertainment, specialty shops, and seasonal festivals Requirements: Active New York State RN license Current BLS (AHA) certification CPI or de-escalation training certification (Welle or CPI approved programs required) Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health unit experience Recent travel nursing experience required EPIC EMR experience required Experience with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations Demonstrated experience with de-escalation of agitated patients Reliable transportation (own vehicle required) Strong attendance record and professional reliability New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required for agency submission 14-panel drug screen completion within 24 hours of offer acceptance Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a well-established behavioral health unit that prioritizes patient-centered care within a supportive team environment.
