Family Medicine physician job in Vermont : Join the team in Middlebury, Vermont as a Family Medicine, Geriatrician, or Internal Medicine Physician, providing care at a long-term care facility. This role involves direct patient care in a supportive environment. About the Opportunity: Hybrid or Remote: Not applicable Shift: 8-hour shifts Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours: 8 am to 5 pm Setting: Long-term care facility Responsibilities: The Family Medicine, Geriatrician, or Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for: Providing daily care to residents in a 98-bed facility Managing a patient load of 8-12 patients per day Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Documenting patient progress and treatment plans Ensuring high-quality care standards Qualifications: Experience in a similar role Medical degree with relevant specialization Board certification in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Internal Medicine Proficient in patient care management Excellent communication skills Ability to work collaboratively Empathetic and patient-focused approach Strong problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and organized Desired Skills: Experience in a long-term care setting Advanced medical degree Additional geriatric certifications Familiarity with electronic medical records Strong interpersonal skills Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
