Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, renowned for its commitment to

care, is currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II for our
specialized C4/C3W Infectious Disease/Secure Unit. This pivotal
role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to patients
with infectious diseases, including those requiring security
protocols within the unit. A successful candidate will be highly
skilled in infection control practices and have a keen
understanding of both medical and safety requirements essential to
the containment and care of infectious disease patients. Administer
and monitor patient medications and treatments according to
physician orders and established guidelines. Maintain strict
infection control protocols and safety measures to prevent
contamination and spread of infection. Assist in the development
and implementation of patient management plans, collaborating with
other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families on
disease processes, management, and prevention strategies.
Participate in the research and analysis of patient data for
improving practice related to infectious diseases. Ensure patient
documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with hospital
policies. Proficient in clinical skills with a focus on infection
control High adaptability to dynamic hospital settings Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle
high-stress environments Expertise in electronic health record
