team! -: The Pines at Glens Falls, a 5-Star CMS-rated, recently
renovated 120-bed Skilled Nursing Center, and a member of the
National Health Care Associates Family of Facilities, is seeking a
Director of Nursing Services (DNS). Glens Falls is known for their
Pulmonary Care and is the only site around with an onsite
Respiratory Therapist and Pulmonologist. They are also well-known
for their Wound Care Program and have a certified Wound Care Nurse
on staff. The center runs close to full and with a high-volume of
admissions and discharges. The DNS will have a previous track
record of success in the role and possess both excellent
interpersonal and clinical skills. They will be accessible and
available to staff, residents, and their families, and willing to
jump in and work with the staff side-by-side if necessary. What
You'll Do: As the Director of Nursing, you will provide strategic
leadership to the nursing team, setting goals and objectives
aligned with our mission. You will foster excellence and innovation
in nursing care. Your leadership will shape the culture of our
facility and drive the advancement of healthcare practice. The
Director of Nursing Services has 24-hour accountability and is
responsible for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective
health care at the center, while achieving positive clinical
outcomes, and patient/resident and employee satisfaction. Key
Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of nurses and
healthcare professionals - Develop and implement strategic
initiatives to enhance nursing practices - Oversee nursing
operations, including staffing, training, and quality assurance -
Set high standards to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to
our residents - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
optimize resident care plans Ensure compliance to regulatory
standards - Drive a culture of continuous improvement and

What You'll Bring: Qualifications of a Director of Nursing include:
- Valid state RN nursing license - Advanced degree or certification
preferred - Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in
healthcare delivery - Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation
and quality improvement - Compassionate and empathetic approach to
patient care - Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the
chronically ill with the ability to work with both - Strong
clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills -
Experience in a senior nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care
