Compensation Guaranteed Annual Compensation: $350,000 Total Earning Potential: Up to $450,000 annually with incentive compensation Compensation Structure Base Compensation $250,000 annual salary Two guaranteed $50,000 payments paid at six-month intervals Incentive Compensation Up to $100,000 annually based on clinic performance and patient volumes Paid semiannually Position Overview The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for a growing ketamine practice with multiple locations, opening up a treatment clinic in Albany, NY. This is a full-time role combining direct patient care with administrative leadership responsibilities. The position is well suited for a physician interested in leading and scaling a specialized interventional mental health practice. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care up to three clinical days per week, including several weekend days per month. Serve as Medical Director, ensuring clinical quality, safety, and compliance Lead hiring, onboarding, and retention of clinical and support staff Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and overall office functionality Conduct and/or support new patient evaluations and medical intake interviews Participate in medical provider consultations and interdisciplinary coordination Manage clinical escalations and support staff decision-making Perform medical administrative duties in support of ketamine clinic operations Qualifications: Active New York State medical license Board certification in emergency medicine required. Five years of post-residency experience in emergency medicine Familiarity with ketamine therapy is a plus Strong communication and patient care skills Note Malpractice Insurance is covered by the company.
