LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN House Supervisor Supervisor for a travel nursing job in Poughkeepsie, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: House Supervisor - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 34.5 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights, on call, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Nurse Supervisor SHIFT TIMES: 07:00:00 PM - 07:00:00 AM Mon- Friday variable days, weekends & holidays WORK SITE: 45 Reade Place, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 *aka House Supervisor or Administrative House Manager * Assumes accountability for Hospital Operations inclusive of patient throughput, clinical practice, environment of care and safety. Partners with the leadership of various hospital departments to provide continuity of care. ICU & ED clinical nursing experience required Essential Responsibilities - Provides leadership and support across departments. - Responds to all emergency calls, codes, and alerts within the hospital. - Escalates issues/events as necessary per hospital chain of command. - Addresses patient complaints that arise in real time through service recovery to ensure an optimal patient experience. - Facilitates throughput to varying levels of care as indicated. - Plans and projects staffing and resources considering assessment of unit acuity and activity. - Supports quality metrics and goals to ensure optimal patient safety and quality of care. Escalates concerns timely. - Communicates effectively across the organizations, actual and potential operation, clinical and risk management issues in a timely manner to all appropriate levels in the organization. - Maintain and Model Nuvance Health Values. - Demonstrates regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. - Performs other du ties as required Transfer Center Responsibilities - Coordinates interfacility transfers to facilitate appropriate, safe, and expeditious transfer of patients. Required: New York State licensed Registered Nurse 3 – 5 yrs yr clinical nursing experience – ICU & ED experience required 1-2 yrs.
