Job Description Job Description Description: Position Summary: Per diem OT position primarily sub-acute inpatient care . Minimum of one years’ experience in hospital setting preferred. Ability to grow this position to consistent part time for the right candidate. Qualifications: Education/ Experience: Advanced degree from accredited program, completion of all state and national requirements for licensure/certification. VT License, CPR, NBCOT registration Other Requirements: Ability to work independently, pay attention to details, multitask, and follow set procedures. Requirements: Functions Of The Position: Administers occupational therapy treatment modalities with competency and appropriateness related to patient's diagnosis and current status Completes all necessary documentation to include: evaluation, re- evaluation/progress notes as required by regulatory agencies, daily notes, and other. Coordinate and delegate appropriate activities to OTA staff as it relates to patient care. Communicates appropriately, timely, and effectively with providers, patients, visitors, co-workers, and supervisor. Participate in operational activities of the department including continuous quality improvement initiatives and chart QI. Ensure that patient charges are completed accurately and timely on all treatment notes. Participate in safety program initiatives, infection control initiatives, emergency preparedness initiatives as requested or assigned.
