Job Description:

Porter Medical Center, a proud member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is seeking a dedicated Multimodality Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality diagnostic images that are crucial for the accurate diagnosis and subsequent treatment of our patients. Our technologists are expected to operate a variety of imaging equipment in a hospital setting, adhering to stringent safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff alike. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound following set protocols and physician orders. Ensure the safety of patients during all imaging procedures Adjust and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to all safety regulations. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining methodologies and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with radiologists to determine proper imaging techniques. Maintain patient records and radiographic logs. Participate in on-call rotations as required by departmental needs. Proficiency in multiple imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex imaging equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certifications in additional imaging modalities (e.g., MRI, CT) preferred Current CPR certification
