Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Initiate and lead patient education to ensure compliance with healthcare recommendations and treatments. Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure excellence in patient care. Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs and coordinating care with other healthcare providers. Engage in continuous education and professional development related to medical-surgical nursing and care.
