Job Description:

for our South Clinical Campus Operating Room. This pivotal role is

nursing and patient care. This position requires proficiency in
managing complex patient situations in a dynamic operating room

and postoperative nursing care to patients in the operating room.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
using computerized documentation systems. Implement and monitor
patient care plans. Modify plans as needed to meet changing patient
needs. Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of
surgeons and registered nurses. Maintain a sterile environment in
the operating room, adhering strictly to infection control
protocols. Educate patients and their families on surgical
processes, postoperative care, and lifestyle adjustments
post-surgery. Advanced knowledge of operating room protocols and
safety standards. Proficiency in using medical software for patient
management. Strong skills in critical thinking and problem-solving
in high-pressure environments. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and
interdisciplinary medical teams. Capability to perform effectively
in emergency situations with quick decision-making abilities.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in the state.
Certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR) preferred. Basic
Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certifications.
