Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Albany, New York, 12208! Job

required Description: The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care
Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically
complex patients. Respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head
injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders,
complex traumas, and surgical complications are among the
conditions treated. Candidates must be competent in the care of
medical and surgical populations. Candidates should have expertise
in advanced hemodynamics, including pressor usage per established
titration protocols. Experience with antihypertensive drips,
sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, central venous
pressure monitoring, external ventricular drainage, orthotropic
traction, and infection prevention protocols is essential.
Knowledge of high-flow nasal cannula, BiPap/Cpap, and
oxygen-dependent care is required. Candidates with substantial
adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience
typically excel in this role. The average patient load consists of
3 high-acuity patients. Competency testing will be required shortly
