Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work on medical surgical units with 20 to 34 beds depending on unit assignment • Maintain typical patient ratio of 1:6 • Must be willing to float to any medical surgical unit • Every other weekend and holidays required as needed • No on-call responsibilities • 8 hours of non-billable orientation required • Personal scrubs of any color allowed • 2 years current medical surgical experience required • Telemetry experience required • Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required • Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS - must be current at profile upload • Massachusetts RN license required • Must have own vehicle for assignment • Must reside more than 50 miles from facility • Maximum 5 days requested time off accepted (less preferred) • All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission • Skills checklist for medical surgical (current within 1 year) required • One supervisory signed reference from past two years required Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services to the community.
