Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Manchester, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Summary: This position is for a newly built step-down unit expected to begin accepting patients around March 8, 2026. Travelers should be flexible, as processes may change during the initial setup of the unit. ICU RNs interested in step-down care may be considered, with a 1:3 patient ratio. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of RN experience - First-time travelers not accepted - Epic experience required - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Unit Details: - 12 beds / Avg. census: 11 - Every other weekend required - Orientation: 36 hours Floating Expectations: - Helping hands/team nursing approach - May assist ICU or ED as support staff - Patient sitting may be required - Will not be assigned patients outside clinical competency Common Patient Diagnoses: Respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, stroke, post-surgical care (neuro, cardiothoracic, general), and stable single-organ trauma. Skills/Equipment: Arterial & central line management, telemetry, BiPAP/high flow oxygen, chest tubes, epicardial wires. Equipment includes patient lifts, noninvasive fluid management systems, air taps, and telemetry monitoring. Systems Used: EPIC, Omnicell, SBAR Additional Note: Candidates who have previously worked at any Solution Health facility are not eligible, regardless of how long ago.
