Exciting Opportunity for Telemetry Nurses!/n/nJob Description:/n/n- Start Date: Must start in the next 2 weeks/n- Location: Elizabethtown, NY/n- Unit Details:/n - 25 beds in the Med/Surg Acute Unit/n - Specialty in Medical Acute and Sub Acute/n/n- Schedule:/n - Alternating shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts one week and 3 x 12-hour shifts 1 x 8-hour shift the next week/n - Minimum of every other weekend required/n - No block schedules allowed/n/n- Requirements:/n - Current NY nursing license/n - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certification (NIHSS required prior to start)/n - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience/n - Prior travel nursing experience/n - Charge experience is required and will be performed regularly/n - Recent EPIC experience (within the past 2 years) is non-negotiable/n/n- Patient Care:/n - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6/n - Patient population includes chronic disease exacerbation, acute infections (ages 17-104)/n - Diverse care modalities including M/S acute and chronic care, telemetry, and rehabilitation /n /n- Unit Specifics:/n - Staff includes CNAs/LNAs, PCTs, and an LPN on each shift/n - 1-2 days of orientation provided/n - Equipment: IV pumps, telemetry, CT IV contrast, hi-flow oxygen/n - 24/7 respiratory and anesthesia support available/n/n- Transportation:/n - Reliable transportation is essential; public transport is not accessible in the area/n/nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): /nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
