Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system renowned for

high-quality patient care, is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our
multispecialty team. As an LPN at Albany Medical Center, you will
play a pivotal role in providing exceptional, compassionate care
across various departments. You will collaborate with professional
healthcare teams to administer medications, aid in patient
assessment, and ensure the health and comfort of our patients.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse
reactions. Coordinate with healthcare teams to assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Record patients'
medical histories and symptoms, aid in diagnostic tests and analyze
results. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention
and health maintenance. Provide basic patient care and treatments,
such as dressing wounds and managing infection control processes.
Proficient in administering injections and medications. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage time
effectively and multitask efficiently. Knowledge of electronic
medical record (EMR) systems and data entry. Adept in emergency
response and providing basic life support. Valid state Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification.
