Care Regulatory and Fraud and Abuse in Albany, NY An established
firm based in Albany with over 50 years in practice is seeking a
Health Law Associate with at least 3 years of experience to join
their team. This Attorney will have experience with health care
regulatory and fraud and abuse matters, including the federal
Anti-Kickback Statute, EKRA, and Stark Law, ensuring compliance
with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in
litigation and advisory matters. Offer: Salary range:
$120,000-$185,000, contingent on experience Comprehensive medical,

schedule Qualifications: The candidate must be a licensed attorney
in good standing, preferably admitted to practice in New York or
eligible for admission by waiver. The candidate must have at least
three years of experience focusing on health care regulatory
matters, including fraud and abuse counseling. The candidate must
have substantive experience analyzing and advising on the federal
Anti-Kickback Statute, EKRA, and the Stark Law. The candidate must
have experience counseling health care providers, entities, or
health care-adjacent businesses on federal and state regulatory
compliance. The candidate must have strong legal research, writing,
and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex
statutes and regulations. The candidate must have experience
drafting and reviewing policies, procedures, and agreements to
ensure compliance with applicable health care laws. The candidate
must have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain
complex regulatory concepts to clients in a practical and
business-oriented manner. The candidate must be organized,
detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple matters and deadlines
in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must demonstrate a high
level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client
service and teamwork. Responsibilities: The attorney will advise
clients on health care regulatory matters, including the
Anti-Kickback Statute, EKRA, Stark Law, and related federal and
state fraud and abuse laws. The attorney will analyze proposed and
existing arrangements, contracts, and business models for
regulatory risk and provide practical compliance guidance. The
attorney will draft and review contracts, policies, and procedures
for health care providers and entities to ensure alignment with
applicable laws and regulations. The attorney will assist with
internal investigations, audits, and responses to inquiries or
investigations by government agencies or payors. The attorney will
prepare memoranda, opinion letters, and other written work product
addressing complex regulatory and reimbursement issues. The
attorney will collaborate with litigation, corporate, and
transactional attorneys on matters involving health care regulatory
components. The attorney will monitor legal and regulatory
developments in health care law and keep clients and colleagues
informed of significant changes. The attorney will participate in
client meetings, conference calls, and presentations, providing
clear and concise regulatory advice. The attorney will contribute
to the firm's business development efforts, including writing
articles, speaking at industry events, and supporting client
relationship initiatives. - For this position, you must be
