In this position, you are not just a driver, but a vital part of our mission to collaborate with numerous restaurants and foodservice operations, helping them thrive by delivering top-notch products efficiently. Your role will involve transporting goods between our distribution centers and various drop-off points, securing cargo, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Operate a shuttle vehicle to transport food and supplies between distribution centers and specific destinations. Ensure accurate and timely deliveries and pick-ups while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. Maintain detailed logs of driving activities, working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, adhering to state and federal regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any discrepancies or issues for immediate resolution. Secure cargo effectively and check transportation tags or paperwork to ensure accurate load contents. Adhere to company operating policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment. Proficient in operating large vehicles Strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of local streets, routes, and delivery points Ability to maintain accurate logs and records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid commercial driver's license (CDL), preferably CDL Class A Clean driving record DOT Medical Card
