Description:JOB TITLE:Flex TechnicianWAGE SCALE: (Including $1.50 shift differential)Individuals accepted into the Flex Tech program can earn up to $3.00 on top of their base hourly rate. Increase is based on department skills in above departments and willingness to become competent in each department.-- Flex Technician: $20.50 start-- Flex Technician I: $21.50 knowledge of 1 support department-- Flex Technician II: 22.50 knowledge of 2 support departments-- Flex Tech III: $23.50 knowledge of 3 support departments.HOURS:Currently hiring for 11:00pm - 7:00am Monday - Friday, last shift ending Saturday morning. LOCATION:Interprint, Inc. 101 Central Berkshire Blvd. Pittsfield, MAWe are close to Lee, MA; Westfield, MA; Troy, NY and Albany, NY BENEFIT HIGHTLIGHTS:Medical, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401(k) with company match, Flex Spending Account, Career path with Compensation Tier Program provided, ask for details.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:We are looking for a Flex Technician to fill an opening immediately in Pittsfield, MA to encompass the following but not limited to:Ability to demonstrate satisfactory knowledge and skill at each department process by understanding the use of all relevant machines and tools necessary to fulfill the tasks of a Technician in each department.Establishes quality by meeting each departments standards and working to ensure all standard operating procedures are followed.Maintains production and quality by meeting each departments standard for operation and meeting all stated requirements. Maintains workflow by communicating information pertaining to outturn submittals/standard proposals with Quality Control and Sales departments to expedite sample shipments. Works with Quality Technicians to send out outturns and standard update materials. Answering telephone; answering emails; answering or referring inquiries.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES-- Demonstrates a good attitude toward work and arrives on time for start of shift.-- Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail.-- Communicates well with others.-- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.-- Ability to lift 40 or more pounds.PREFERRED-- Mechanical aptitude.-- Completion of vocational training in machine shop.-- Previous work experience in same or similar field.
