Job Title
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a First-Shift Facility Technician for our Lowell, MA team. In this role, you will be working on a team to help lead and unload hazardous waste safely to the facility.

This position reports to the onsite Manager and is based in Lowell, MA. The hours for the position are Monday through Friday, 5:30AM - 2PM with routine overtime
Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Waste and document preparation; regulatory and safety review
  
• Load & unload incoming & outgoing trucks
  
• Waste inventory management through the use of Triumvirate designed software and computerized waste tracking system
  
• Learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices
  
• Become familiar with packaging guidelines and disposal facility selection
  
• Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices, Triumvirate's Part B permit, and EPA regulations
  
• Communicate effectively with end facilities as well as fellow employees to solve complex issues
  
• WOW! internal and external customers!
  
• Become forklift trained and be able to safely operate machinery
  
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team (optional)
  
  Basic Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • High School Degree or equivalent
    
  • Basic knowledge of or desire to learn hazardous waste industry
    
  • 
    
  • 
    
  • Valid driver's license
    
  • This is a Safety Sensitive Position
    
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
    
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
    
  • Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
    
  • Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
    
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
    
  • Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
    
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
    
  • The Facility Technician frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety sensitive.
    
    Preferred Requirements:
    
    • 
      
    • Prior relevant industry experience
      1+ years of hazardous waste industry experience
      Forklift experience
      CDL preferred but not required
