Job Description Job Description Parts Counter Sales Specialist Location: Schenectady, NY Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (No evenings or weekends) We are partnering with a client in Schenectady, NY to fill a Parts Counter Sales Specialist role. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical product knowledge who enjoys combining customer service, sales support, and hands-on order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate quotations for customer product inquiries Provide customers with detailed product information and technical guidance Process sales orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment Respond promptly to customer questions and follow up as needed Pull, package, and prepare orders for pickup or delivery (parts, fittings, pipe, fixtures, etc.) Design, size, and troubleshoot hydronic heating systems, including baseboard, radiant, and steam Participate in networking events, training sessions, and professional groups to support sales growth Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3 years of relevant industry experience Strong technical knowledge of products and system design (hydronic/heating experience preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated with a positive, customer-focused attitude Professional appearance and demeanor
