Job Description:

SAS Retail Services is seeking a detail-oriented and analytics-driven Retail Data Collector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to enhance store operations and improve the retail experience for our clients nationwide, ranging from chain to independent retailers. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, as the insights generated will directly influence merchandising strategies and product positioning within the stores. Gather and log data on sales, customer traffic, and inventory levels from assigned retail locations. Utilize handheld data collection devices and proprietary software to capture product-specific information. Communicate frequently with store managers and sales personnel to validate information and gather additional insights. Analyze data trends and generate reports that will assist management in making informed merchandising decisions. Participate in regular team meetings to share findings and discuss improvements in data collection methods. Assist in implementing and monitoring retail project initiatives based on collected data. Ensure compliance with all company and client protocols regarding data integrity and confidentiality. Proficiency with data collection technologies and software. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Time management skills to handle multiple store projects concurrently. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certification in Data Analytics or Retail Management is a plus.
