Our client, a leading organization in the global logistics sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting the overall safety and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the warehouse environment. Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant Location: Malta, NY Pay Range: $20/hour Shift: 7am - 7pm, Sunday through Tuesday, Every Other Wednesday What's the Job? Coordinate safety and quality functions, including auditing shipments and work areas to ensure compliance with policies and standards. Support documentation efforts, including maintaining the Document Control Center and updating visual aids, process instructions, and quality procedures. Participate in internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency. Perform plant tours to identify and address any non-compliance activities, ensuring a safe and quality-focused environment. Manage inventory processes, including aged material follow-up, excess/slow-moving inventory, and vendor/parts profile updates. What's Needed? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives. Good communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Strong Computer skills with experience with Microsoft Excel DOT Compliant Background/Drug Screening What's in it for me?
