Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in the Kingston, NY area, this part-time physical therapy position supports an early childhood school setting. The role is ideal for a physical therapist with experience in educational environments, focusing on young childrens development and therapy needs. Key Responsibilities: - Provide physical therapy services to early childhood students in school settings. - Conduct 12 therapy sessions at one location within Albany County and 8 sessions in Saugerties. - Collaborate with educators and staff to support individualized student goals. - Document progress and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. - Adapt therapy plans based on student needs and feedback. Qualifications: - Licensed physical therapist with relevant experience working in schools or with pediatric populations. - Strong understanding of early childhood development and physical therapy interventions. - Ability to travel between specified locations for sessions. - Effective communication skills for working with children, families, and school staff. - Flexibility to work part-time with a casual school year contract. - Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care. This contract position starts ASAP, with the end date to be determined. If the candidate proves to be a great fit, there may be opportunities for contract extension.
